In 2016 Marie-Victoire Winckler travels to Afghanistan.  Drawing inspiration from modern drawings from the Bauhaus era and the originality of the Afghan wooden lattice techniques, she creates the Walter trivets.

Inspired by the great skills and creativity of these craftsmen, Marie-Victoire’s vision brings together oriental and occidental styles.

With the Walter trivets, she created a kind of modern ” table jewel”.
